TERMS OF SERVICE
These terms apply to your use of Elements ("the game") at elements.lumpkin.xyz. By playing the game or creating an account you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the game.
The game
Elements is a free, hobby project provided as-is. Matches run in memory on a single server, so a deploy or restart can end a running match without notice. Features, statistics and accounts may change, be reset or be removed at any time.
Accounts
- You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
- Give accurate information, keep your password private, and tell us if you think your account was accessed without permission. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- Usernames must not impersonate others or be offensive. We may rename or remove accounts that break these terms.
- If you lose your password, "Forgot password?" emails a one-time code to the address on the account. If that address no longer works for you, you can sign in with Google using the same email, or contact us.
Play fair, be decent
You agree not to:
- cheat, use bots or scripts to play for you, exploit bugs to gain an advantage, or tamper with game statistics;
- harass, threaten or abuse other players, or post hateful, sexual, illegal or spam content in names or chat;
- attack, overload, scan or attempt to break into the game, its server or other players' accounts, or work around its limits;
- collect other players' personal information, or use the game for anything unlawful.
Room hosts can remove players from their rooms. We may warn, suspend or remove accounts, or block access, at our discretion, particularly for breaking these rules.
Your content
You keep ownership of anything you submit (such as your display name and chat messages), and you give us permission to store and display it as needed to run the game. You are responsible for what you post.
Our content
The game, its code and its design belong to its developer, except for third-party assets (including character models and animations) used under their own licenses, listed in the game's repository. You may play the game, but may not copy or resell it as your own, except as allowed by the repository's license, if any.
No warranty
The game is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that your account or statistics will never be lost.
Limit of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, the developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the game. Because the game is free, any liability will not exceed US$0 to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be limited.
Ending your account
You can stop playing at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account by emailing jlump001@gmail.com. We may suspend or end the game or any account at any time.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what information the game handles.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest revision. Continuing to use the game after a change means you accept the new terms.
